The Ultracompact Surface for Countertops, Facades and Floors
Dekton is the ultracompact surface from Cosentino, the family-owned Spanish group behind Silestone, produced in Cantoria, Almería. It is made with Cosentino's sinterized particle technology, which compacts raw minerals under extreme heat and pressure into a dense, non-porous slab.
That process is what sets it apart. Dekton resists heat, scratches, stains and UV light, so it performs on a kitchen countertop, a bathroom wall, a floor or an outdoor kitchen without fading or losing its finish. Large-format slabs let a run of countertop or a full-height backsplash read as one uninterrupted surface.
Aksesuar Design carries Dekton because it answers the question quartz cannot: what goes outdoors, beside a cooktop or in a sunlit room and still looks the same years later. You can compare it in person with Silestone and Cambria at the Alexandria showroom.
What sets Dekton apart
Heat, Scratch and Stain Resistant
A sinterized, non-porous surface that stands up to hot cookware, knives and everyday spills on a working kitchen counter.
UV Stable, Indoors and Out
Dekton does not fade or discolor in sunlight, which makes it a surface for outdoor kitchens, terraces and facades as well as interiors.
Countertops, Facades and Floors
Large-format slabs are specified for countertops, backsplashes, cladding and flooring, so one material can run through a whole room.
From the Makers of Silestone
Produced by Cosentino in Cantoria, Almería, Spain, alongside Silestone, so the two surfaces can be compared side by side in our showroom.

Dekton, answered
What is Dekton made of?
Dekton is an ultracompact surface by Cosentino, produced by sinterizing a blend of raw minerals under extreme heat and pressure into a dense, non-porous slab.
Can Dekton be used outdoors?
Yes. Dekton is UV stable and resists heat, so it is specified for outdoor kitchens, terraces and facades as well as indoor countertops and floors.
Is Dekton heat resistant?
Yes. Dekton tolerates heat and contact with hot cookware, which quartz surfaces do not. Trivets remain good practice for very hot pans on any surface.
