In short

How we work

Kitchen designers for Annapolis, Maryland, from our Alexandria showroom over the Wilson Bridge and up Route 50: designers who draw your kitchen in photorealistic 3D, specify German cabinetry built to order to the room, file the permit with the City of Annapolis or Anne Arundel County, and measure, deliver and install it themselves; no Annapolis kitchen is on the projects page yet, and we say so.

The answer

Do your kitchen designers work with homes in Annapolis, Maryland?

Yes. Aksesuar Design's kitchen designers draw Annapolis kitchens in 3D at the Alexandria showroom, over the Wilson Bridge and up Route 50 from Annapolis, specify German cabinetry built to order to the room, and the same team measures, delivers and installs it, filing the permit with the City of Annapolis or Anne Arundel County when walls, plumbing or electrical work change. The nearest completed kitchens are in Potomac, Bethesda and Fort Washington, all in 2025.

Before you start

Do you work in Annapolis?

Yes. From the showroom, off I-395 at Edsall Road, Annapolis is the Beltway over the Wilson Bridge and Route 50 east; Severna Park, Arnold, Edgewater and the Broadneck peninsula are the same drive.

Before you start

Who pulls the permit?

The City of Annapolis issues its own building permit inside the city; the rest of Anne Arundel County (Severna Park, Arnold, Crofton, Edgewater) goes through the county's Inspections and Permits. We file with whichever one your house is in when walls, plumbing or electrical work change.

Before you start

Do I have to come to Alexandria?

For the consultation and the design, yes: the full-size displays and the material wall are there, and the finishes are decided in front of them. Measuring, delivery and installation happen at your home.

Before you start

What is particular to homes in Annapolis?

Historic district houses downtown with small kitchens and tight access, waterfront houses on the Severn and the South River, and colonials in the newer neighborhoods. The drawing has to account for the delivery route as much as the room.

About five months from signing

From the day you sign, most kitchens take about five months: 2 to 4 weeks to settle the last details, then 16 weeks for production in Germany, shipping, installation and the tile work.

Demolition waits until about a month before the cabinetry arrives, so you keep your kitchen while the new one is being built.

The cost

How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Annapolis?

In 2026 our completed kitchen projects ran from $42,000 to $190,000 and up, with most between $90,000 and $145,000. Those are total installed values, not cabinetry prices. The same itemized proposal applies in Annapolis, Maryland: cabinetry, surfaces, appliances, construction and installation, each its own line.

What moves the number

The size of the kitchen

Cabinetry alone starts at $15,000 for a small kitchen, $35,000 for a medium kitchen and $55,000 for a large one. The number of carcases is the first thing that moves the price.

What moves the number

Whether walls and services move

Opening the plan adds structural work, electrical and plumbing relocation and a permit. Keeping the layout removes most of that.

What moves the number

Surfaces

Countertops in Silestone, Dekton or Cambria, Porcelanosa tile, lighting and hardware are selected together with the cabinetry, and each choice is itemized.

What moves the number

Fronts and interiors

Handleless flat fronts, grooved real wood, metal-look and glass fronts, soft-matt lacquer, and the interior storage planned around what you keep in the kitchen.

What moves the number

Appliances

Placed in the drawing so clearances and extraction are right. Priced separately unless the proposal includes them.

What moves the number

Installation

Installation by our own team is its own line in the proposal, next to the cabinetry and the surfaces.

Directions to the showroom

Asked often

What should I expect on a first visit?

A well-run kitchen design showroom visit is more than a walk-through, it's the beginning of your design process. At Aksesuar Design, your first visit typically includes a conversation about your project scope and budget, a guided tour of our live displays, and hands-on time with materials, finishes, and hardware from our European brand partners. Come with photos of your current space if you have them; it helps us point you toward the right direction faster.

Asked often

Do I need an appointment?

The showroom is open Monday to Friday 10 to 6 and Saturday 10 to 4, and Sundays by appointment. Book ahead to reserve time with a designer.

Asked often

What is the design consultation?

A complimentary session with a designer at the Alexandria showroom. There is no time limit, and you leave with a direction for the kitchen.

Asked often

Which areas do you serve?

We work throughout the DMV: Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland. Our studio in Alexandria sits at the center of the region, so most of it is a short drive away.

Asked often

How far is the studio from where I live?

Most of the DMV is fifteen to sixty minutes from Alexandria. We are glad to share a realistic drive time for your neighborhood when you reach out.

Asked often

Do you handle permits?

Yes. When walls, plumbing or electrical work change, we handle the permits and approvals in Virginia, Maryland and DC as part of the project. Many kitchens need none, and we tell you which yours is.

Asked often

Do you work in McLean, Arlington, Bethesda and Washington, DC?

Yes. Completed kitchens include Chantilly, Arlington and Annandale in Virginia; Bethesda, Potomac and Fort Washington in Maryland; and Washington, DC. See the projects page for each one.
