Kitchen Remodel Alexandria VA

A kitchen remodel in Alexandria, Virginia by the team based here: our showroom at 5700 General Washington Drive, off I-395 at Edsall Road, is where the kitchen is designed in 3D before German cabinetry is built to order to your room, the permit is filed with the City of Alexandria or Fairfax County by your address, and our own team builds and installs it.

Yes. The showroom is off I-395 at Edsall Road, on the Fairfax County side of Alexandria: Duke Street runs east to Old Town, Del Ray and Rosemont, and Van Dorn Street south to Kingstowne and Franconia.

Alexandria is two jurisdictions. Inside the City of Alexandria (Old Town, Del Ray, Rosemont, Seminary Hill) the City's Department of Code Administration issues the permit; in the Fairfax County part (Kingstowne, Franconia, Mount Vernon, Lincolnia, where the showroom is) it is Fairfax County Land Development Services. We file with whichever one your house is in.

For the consultation and the design, yes: the full-size displays and the material wall are there, and the finishes are decided in front of them. Measuring, delivery and installation happen at your home.

Old Town and Del Ray rowhouses and bungalows with narrow galley kitchens, mid-century colonials and split-levels in Seminary Hill and the county neighborhoods, and condominiums along the Potomac: three different kitchens, each measured and drawn to its house.

A private design appointment at the Alexandria showroom, complimentary, with no time limit. We review your kitchen, what you want to change and your budget.

We measure the room, the services and the clearances on site.

Layout, cabinetry, countertops and finishes come back in 3D, so you approve the kitchen on screen.

Cabinetry, surfaces, appliances, construction and installation are itemized, so you can see what you are paying for and what moves the number.

The approved specification is ordered. Where walls, plumbing or electrical work change, we handle the permits, and our own team builds and installs the kitchen.

In 2026 our completed kitchen projects ran from $42,000 to $190,000 and up, with most between $90,000 and $145,000. Those are total installed values, not cabinetry prices. The same itemized proposal applies in Alexandria, Virginia: cabinetry, surfaces, appliances, construction and installation, each its own line.

Cabinetry alone starts at $15,000 for a small kitchen, $35,000 for a medium kitchen and $55,000 for a large one. The number of carcases is the first thing that moves the price.

Opening the plan adds structural work, electrical and plumbing relocation and a permit. Keeping the layout removes most of that.

Countertops in Silestone, Dekton or Cambria, Porcelanosa tile, lighting and hardware are selected together with the cabinetry, and each choice is itemized.

Handleless flat fronts, grooved real wood, metal-look and glass fronts, soft-matt lacquer, and the interior storage planned around what you keep in the kitchen.

Placed in the drawing so clearances and extraction are right. Priced separately unless the proposal includes them.

Installation by our own team is its own line in the proposal, next to the cabinetry and the surfaces.
