Custom Cabinets Alexandria VA

Custom cabinets in Alexandria, Virginia from the team based here: our showroom is at 5700 General Washington Drive, off I-395 at Edsall Road, and every kitchen is designed in it before the German cabinetry is built to order to your room and installed by our own team, in the City of Alexandria or the Fairfax County side.

Yes. The showroom is off I-395 at Edsall Road, on the Fairfax County side of Alexandria: Duke Street runs east to Old Town, Del Ray and Rosemont, and Van Dorn Street south to Kingstowne and Franconia.

Alexandria is two jurisdictions. Inside the City of Alexandria (Old Town, Del Ray, Rosemont, Seminary Hill) the City's Department of Code Administration issues the permit; in the Fairfax County part (Kingstowne, Franconia, Mount Vernon, Lincolnia, where the showroom is) it is Fairfax County Land Development Services. We file with whichever one your house is in.

For the consultation and the design, yes: the full-size displays and the material wall are there, and the finishes are decided in front of them. Measuring, delivery and installation happen at your home.

Old Town and Del Ray rowhouses and bungalows with narrow galley kitchens, mid-century colonials and split-levels in Seminary Hill and the county neighborhoods, and condominiums along the Potomac: three different kitchens, each measured and drawn to its house.

We review your room, your storage, your architecture and your budget at the Alexandria showroom, in a private design appointment, complimentary, with no time limit, and agree what the cabinetry has to do.

Layout, elevations, proportions and finishes come back as photorealistic 3D, so you approve the cabinetry on screen before anything is committed.

Every carcase, front, countertop, handle and internal system is itemized, so you can see exactly what you are paying for and adjust before release.

The approved specification goes into production in Germany, made to your dimensions, with a delivery date you can plan the rest of the project around.

The same team that designed the cabinetry checks the site and installs it, so nothing is lost in a handoff between the drawing and the tools.

From the day you sign, most kitchens take about five months: 2 to 4 weeks to settle the last details, then 16 weeks for production in Germany, shipping, installation and the tile work.

For cabinetry on its own, production and delivery typically run a few months from the point the design is approved and released. You receive a schedule once the design is final, and we plan the rest of the project around that date.

Cabinetry alone starts at $15,000 for a small kitchen, $35,000 for a medium kitchen and $55,000 for a large one. These figures are for custom cabinetry only. The final price depends on kitchen size, cabinet configuration, materials, internal storage and selected details. Countertops, appliances, construction and installation are priced separately unless included in the proposal.

The starting tiers are $15,000 for a small kitchen, $35,000 for a medium kitchen and $55,000 for a large one. The number of carcases is the first thing that moves the price.

Soft-matt lacquer, solid and veneered real wood, metal-look and mirror-glass fronts sit at different points in the range, and every one is on the showroom floor to compare.

Inner drawers, pull-outs, dividers and pantry systems are itemized one by one, so you can see what each adds.

Handles, or handleless fronts with a grip channel, and the hinge and drawer systems behind them.

Installation by our own team is its own line in the proposal, next to the cabinetry. If you have your own contractor, we can supply the cabinetry alone.

In 2026 our completed kitchen projects ran from $42,000 to $190,000 and up, with most between $90,000 and $145,000. Those are total installed values, not cabinetry prices.
