For those who love the details

Permits, timelines, costs, the process and every question we are asked, one card at a time. If you would rather talk it through, a designer covers all of it at the appointment.

In short

How we work

A kitchen remodel quote from us is an itemized specification that follows the 3D design and the measurement: every carcase, front, countertop and handle, the appliances, the construction the plan needs, permits where required and installation, each on its own line.

The answer

What is in a kitchen remodel quote from Aksesuar Design?

Our kitchen remodel quote is an itemized specification: every carcase, front, countertop, handle and internal system, the appliances placed in the drawing, the construction the plan needs, permits where required, and installation by our own team, each on its own line. It follows the 3D design and the measurement, so the number you approve is for the kitchen you saw on screen. In 2026 our completed kitchen projects ran from $42,000 to $190,000 and up, with most between $90,000 and $145,000.

Before you start

Is it itemized?

If cabinetry is one number, you cannot see what moves it. Ours lists every carcase, front, countertop and handle.

Before you start

Is the cabinetry made to measure or stock?

Stock widths mean filler panels. Ours is built to order in Germany to your measurements.

Before you start

Are appliances in?

Ours are placed in the drawing and priced separately unless the proposal includes them.

Before you start

Who handles permits?

We do, in Virginia, Maryland and DC, when walls, plumbing or electrical work change.

Before you start

Who installs, and is it a line?

Our own team, and yes, installation is its own line in the proposal.

Before you start

What do I approve, and when?

The 3D design, then the itemized specification, both before anything is ordered.

Line by line

What a kitchen remodel quote should show

A quote is only comparable when you can see what is in it. This is what to look for, and how ours handles each line.

Our quote follows the 3D design and the measurement, so the number you approve is for the kitchen you saw on screen.

Line by line

Cabinetry

Each carcase and front, not one lump sum.

Every carcase, front, handle and internal system on its own line.

Line by line

Surfaces

The countertop by material and edge, the tile by area.

Silestone, Dekton or Cambria and Porcelanosa tile, itemized.

Line by line

Appliances

Whether they are in the number at all.

Placed in the drawing; priced separately unless the proposal includes them.

Line by line

Construction

Demolition, electrical, plumbing and structural work, named.

Listed where the plan needs them, with the permits in Virginia, Maryland and DC.

Line by line

Installation

Who does it, and what it costs.

Our own team, as its own line next to the cabinetry.

Line by line

After approval

What happens if something changes.

The design and the specification are settled on screen before anything is ordered; cabinetry is built to order and cannot be returned.

The cost

What our completed kitchen projects cost

In 2026 our completed kitchen projects ran from $42,000 to $190,000 and up, with most between $90,000 and $145,000. Those are total installed values, not cabinetry prices; cabinetry alone starts at $15,000 for a small kitchen, $35,000 for a medium kitchen and $55,000 for a large one.

What moves the number

The size of the kitchen

Cabinetry alone starts at $15,000 for a small kitchen, $35,000 for a medium kitchen and $55,000 for a large one. The number of carcases is the first thing that moves the price.

What moves the number

Whether walls and services move

Opening the plan adds structural work, electrical and plumbing relocation and a permit. Keeping the layout removes most of that.

What moves the number

Surfaces

Countertops in Silestone, Dekton or Cambria, Porcelanosa tile, lighting and hardware are selected together with the cabinetry, and each choice is itemized.

What moves the number

Fronts and interiors

Handleless flat fronts, grooved real wood, metal-look and glass fronts, soft-matt lacquer, and the interior storage planned around what you keep in the kitchen.

What moves the number

Appliances

Placed in the drawing so clearances and extraction are right. Priced separately unless the proposal includes them.

What moves the number

Installation

Installation by our own team is its own line in the proposal, next to the cabinetry and the surfaces.

Asked often

How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Northern Virginia?

In 2026 our completed kitchen projects ran from $42,000 to $190,000 and up, with most between $90,000 and $145,000. Those are total installed values, not cabinetry prices; cabinetry alone starts at $15,000. Every project is itemized, so you can see what each part costs and what moves the number.

Asked often

What does a full remodel include?

Design, cabinetry, countertops, appliances, construction, delivery and installation, coordinated by one team. In 2026 our completed kitchen projects ran from $42,000 to $190,000 and up, with most between $90,000 and $145,000. Those are total installed project values, not cabinetry prices, and cabinetry alone starts at the published tiers. Our guide to what custom cabinets cost in Northern Virginia breaks the numbers down.

Asked often

What is the design consultation?

A complimentary session with a designer at the Alexandria showroom. There is no time limit, and you leave with a direction for the kitchen.

Asked often

Do you handle permits?

Yes. When walls, plumbing or electrical work change, we handle the permits and approvals in Virginia, Maryland and DC as part of the project. Many kitchens need none, and we tell you which yours is.

Asked often

Can I buy cabinets without a full remodel?

Yes. If you have your own contractor, we design and supply the cabinetry and can install it or hand it over. In-house installation is our first choice, not a requirement.

Asked often

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

From the day you sign, most kitchens take about five months: 2 to 4 weeks to settle the last details, then 16 weeks for production in Germany, shipping, installation and the tile work. Demolition waits until about a month before the cabinetry arrives, so you keep your kitchen while the new one is being built.
